The 38th Annual Hawaii Pacific Health VIRTUAL Great Aloha Run (GAR) ended on February 21, 2022 culminating in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a limited number of registered participants and their families to come together for an in-person Drive-Thru Finish Line event at Aloha Stadium.

Hundreds of Cars Drive on to the Aloha Stadium Field

GAR hosted about 750 cars full of excited runners and their families, who were able to drive onto the football field, as well as experience a signature Finish Line balloon arch, musical entertainment, and special surprises along a mock Great Aloha Run mini-course. The event was staffed by energetic volunteers from organizations across Oahu. See full line up>

“We were blessed with so many smiles and happy faces as they drove our mini-course and made their final finish in their cars on the Aloha Stadium field,” said Carole Kai Onouye, who founded the Great Aloha Run and continues to spearhead and voluntarily organize the race through Carole Kai Charities, Inc. Aloha Stadium is scheduled to begin reconstruction in early 2022.
