COVID-19 Updates

Dear Great Aloha Run Ohana,

We hope this note finds you, your ohana, and your friends safe and healthy.

So much has taken place since our last in-person race, the 36th Annual Hawaii Pacific Health Great Aloha Run, which was held on February 17, 2020,

We were fortunate to hold the Great Aloha Run as we have, year after year, before COVID-19 affected the state. Your participation and support allowed us to distribute tens of thousands of dollars in donations to dozens of local Hawaii non-profit organizations in a time where these donations were needed more than ever!

The Hawaii Pacific Health Great Aloha Run’s sole purpose is to support the Hawaii community. We’ve provided over $15.5 million dollars of support in our 37 years and hope to continue this as we look into the future.

Please stay safe, respect your space with social distancing, and remember the importance of ALOHA for our community.

We will keep this page updated with the newest information about how COVID-19 impacts our races in 2022.

Mahalo,
Carole, Claire, Rene, Jason, and Keane

2022 Plans – Accurate as of September 14, 2021

On September 14, 2021, Hawaii Pacific Health’s Great Aloha Run announced it will be 100 percent virtual on February 22, 2022. This decision was not made lightly, as we had hoped to offer a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual options. However, given the recent surge in Covid-19 cases, to ensure the health and safety for all, the Great Aloha Run will offer an exciting virtual race as we say A Hui Hou to Aloha Stadium.

As we pivot back to a completely virtual event, we implore the community to come out and continue to support the Great Aloha Run in 2022. This year will be even more exciting than last now that we have one year of virtual under our belt. Stay tuned for new aspects of the race, packet pick up, and our final goodbye to Aloha Stadium as we evolve to provide much-needed support for our local nonprofits.

Please join us for our Virtual Hawaii Pacific Health Great Aloha Run in 2022 as we bid A Hui Hou to the Aloha Stadium!

We will continue to keep everyone up to date via our web site and social media:

Thank you for your support in helping local Hawaii charities!
