The 38th Annual Hawaii Pacific Health VIRTUAL Great Aloha Run (GAR) ended on Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 21, 2022. With participants from every state, Canada, and Japan, more than 7,500 people, including an estimated 2,000 active-duty soldiers stationed at Schofield Barracks, registered to walk, jog, or run 8.15 miles to support more than 30 Hawaii charities.

Medals and Finishers Shirts Begin Shipping March 1

All registered participants will receive the 2022 Finisher T-shirt and Medal, the last to feature Aloha Stadium.

Shipping begins March 1, 2022.

Virtual Badges Led to Great Prizes

Participants had 4 days to complete the 8.15-mile foot race at any location they choose, at any time between February 18 through February 21, 2022. As a new feature for this year’s race, participants could earn virtual badges after logging their miles into the GAR system to earn awards or qualify for a chance to win prizes from sponsors.

Arizona Runner with Hawaii Ties Wins Roundtrip Airfare for 4

Participants who completed and logged 8.15 miles into our system were entered into a random drawing to win the grand prize of four roundtrip tickets to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies.

Sherry K. of Arizona was selected as our grand prize winner!

Sherry’s parents are Hawaii residents and longtime supporters of the Great Aloha Run.

Drive-Thru Finish Line

Nearly 750 cars of registered participants and their families were also invited to an in-person Drive-Thru Finish Line on February 21, 2022. See pictures from the Drive-Thru Finish Line
