A weekend of fun activities geared towards building teamwork, youth fitness, school spirit and school pride.
Thanks to health-minded companies and generous individuals, 20 Oahu high schools will have 100 students, teachers and family members participate in the 2013 Kaiser Permanente Great Aloha Run.
Each school will have a chance to win cash awards by participating in the Mind & Body Fitness Challenge (team obstacles and games) held Saturday at 1 pm at the GAR Sports, Health & Fitness Expo and the Relay Challenge on Race Day at Aloha Stadium.
Through the generosity of Kalaeloa Partners, LLC, the first, second and third place teams will receive $1,000, $750 and $500 respectively. The seven runners-up will receive $200 for their school. Every school will additionally receive $200 for participating thanks to the generous support of HawaiiUSA FCU.
